Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize appropriate solvents, brushes, and cleaning techniques to thoroughly clean powder coater hooks, ensuring the removal of residual powder coating.
  • Conduct inspections of hooks to verify cleanliness and quality, ensuring they comply with operational standards prior to reuse.
  • Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while managing cleaning solvents and equipment to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Document cleaning activities meticulously, including the quantity of hooks cleaned, types of solvents utilized, and any challenges faced during the process.
  • Ensure that cleaning tools and equipment are kept in optimal condition, maintaining their cleanliness and functionality.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow members of the powder coating team to promote an efficient workflow and reduce downtime.
  • Participate in quality control assessments to confirm that hooks meet the necessary specifications for powder coating procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the cleaning of industrial equipment, especially powder coating hooks, is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of powder coating processes and equipment is beneficial.
  • Capability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to inspect and identify defects in cleaned hooks.
  • Physical endurance and strength to perform cleaning tasks, which may involve lifting and scrubbing.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required; additional vocational training in industrial cleaning is a plus.
