AR Contract Closeout Specialist | (Fully Remote ) | 3-Month Contract Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Unbilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the contract closeout process from an unbilled perspective, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations. Responsibilities: Oversee the contract closeout process, ensuring all unbilled accounts receivable are accurately reconciled and resolved. Utilize Costpoint to track and manage unbilled accounts receivable, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the closeout process. Perform detailed reconciliations of unbilled accounts, identifying discrepancies and working to resolve them promptly. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with company policies and government regulations for contract closeout. Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports related to unbilled accounts receivable and contract closeout activities. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to unbilled accounts. Essential Skills: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or contract closeout, preferably in a government contracting environment. 3+ years of experience in Costpoint. 3+ years of experience in AR unbilled contract closeout. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
