Contract Specialist Legal Job Description We are seeking a Contract Specialist with demonstrated U.S. Federal Government Services contracts experience to support our consulting services, unified and product support services, and other transaction authority programs in a high-volume, highly transactional information technology services environment. This role has been opened due to increased workload and offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge federal government projects. Responsibilities Complete U.S. Federal Government and partner representations and certifications. Perform contract reporting, contract close-outs, and manage insurance certificates and performance bonds. Prepare sole source justifications, research non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and establish master service agreements (MSAs) with customers and partners. Assist and provide contract administrative support to business and Federal Services Contracts Managers. Review, capture, execute, and administer IT services proposals, contracts, and subcontracts. Participate in 10% meetings, 70% heads-down work, and 20% collaboration. Essential Skills 3-6 years of experience in contracting for information technology with the U.S. government, preferably in a role with a private company. Experience completing contractor administrative activities. Federal government experience and knowledge. BA or BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently after training. Strong stakeholder feedback and ability to meet deadlines. Work Environment The role is primarily remote, with initial reporting to the Reston, VA office for the first few weeks. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The supplier will provide necessary equipment including a laptop, mouse, and headset. Citizenship and cloud attestation are required.
