Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts as directed by the General Accounting Manager
  • Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flows ensuring conformity with generally accepted accounting principals (GAAP)
  • Prepare the analysis of variant GL accounts on a monthly basis. Provide input into corrective actions to be taken by operations staff.
  • Maintain the on-going analysis for prepaid expenses, amortized assets, long and short term debt and other accounts that impact the proper preparation of interim financial statements.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports including forecasted financial statements (income
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Exhibit knowledge of GAAP accounting, budget preparation and financial management.
  • Knowledgeable in all functional areas of the healthcare delivery process.
  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative teaming qualities.
  • Exhibit superior management skills that emphasize team-building and strong leadership.
  • Outstanding internal and external communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with people.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on key initiatives
  • Dedication and purpose - a commitment to the highest standards of performance within time and budget constraints.
