Senior Nurse Practitioner

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical operations team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, develop nursing care plans, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care. This role also involves participating in risk and quality management programs, as well as adhering to strict departmental goals and regulatory compliance.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess acute and non-acute clinical problems and develop patient management plans
  • Collaborate with the team to communicate patient management strategies and ensure successful patient care
  • Use advanced communication skills to improve processes and service to patients

Other Responsibilities may include:

  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement new practice patterns
  • Facilitate patient/family conferences and discharge to appropriate levels of care
  • Prescribe medication to patients based on State of practice

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated record of achieving clinical performance metrics
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and provide empathetic patient care

Education and Experience Criteria:

  • ARNP or similar advanced degree in Nursing
  • Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in the State of practice
  • Board certification by AANP or ANCC preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
