In this role, you will spend the first year traveling extensively to various locations, immersing yourself in their systems and gaining a deep understanding of their operations. This hands-on experience is crucial as you will begin to lead a team of direct reports during this period. After the first year, you will lead a team of Controls Commissioning Engineers to identify and deploy improvements for all aspects of controls software development and commissioning.

What you will get to do:
    • First year travel to various sites and learn their systems and operations.
    • Collaborate with other departments.
    • Identify, estimate, and mitigate risk for special implementations.
    • Provide next level escalation support for team members.
    • Collaborate with other departments in the implementation process.
    • Perform quality assurance, progress control, in-house and onsite support.
    • Assist in hiring and developing employees.
    • Present status of project controls budgets on a monthly basis.
    • Report lessons learned across department.
What will make you successful:
    • Bachelors degree in engineering.
    • At least 2 years of experience commissioning controls systems.
    • Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley.
    • Desire to be in a team-based environment.
    • Experience working on a complete project lifecycle.
    • Ability to read and understand CAD and electrical drawings.
    • Willingness to travel up to 95% the first year and up to 50% after the first year.
