Your primary responsibilities will be to assist the accounting team in preparation efforts for the annual audit, which include the review and analysis of financial statement line items. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the examination of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to increase business acumen by proactively learning full business processes and taking ownership of assigned areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any pending transactions or discrepancies.
  • Work independently on assigned responsibilities and timely manage workload of assigned areas in a deadline focused environment.
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, discrepancies, risks and recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, or deviations from expected results.
  • Compile and organize supporting documentation and work papers that form the basis of audit conclusions and findings.
  • Take ownership of assigned operational responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing efficiency enhancements.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Practical auditing experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze information and propose solutions.
  • Prior experience with accounting software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

Target Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00

Actual compensation packages consider a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The estimate provided has not been adjusted for all of these factors. At SprintRay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The total compensation package for a position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, and/or other applicable compensation.
