Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing field, is looking for an Quality Technician to join their growing team

Located in Columbus, OH

Pay : $22/hr

Shift : 4:30am-2pm, with rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance audits on incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • Monitor daily adherence to HACCP and GMPs, reporting issues as needed.

  • Generate and maintain reports (specification notices, trend analysis) and process transactions in SAP.

  • Verify regulatory compliance and take corrective actions when necessary.

  • Collaborate with teams on product testing, reworking products, and addressing quality issues.

  • Conduct plant food safety/GMP orientations and complete necessary audits and quality checks.

  • Investigate and document incidents related to food safety.

  • Adhere to PPE requirements and uphold company values, mission, and standards of conduct.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents and product specifications.

  • Knowledge of HACCP principles (certification preferred).

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and operate standard lab equipment.

  • Satisfactory job performance and safety record.

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
