Quality Assurance Technician

BD is a leading global medical technology company that is committed to advancing the world of health. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Support manufacturing by providing guidance on quality documentation and specifications, and assist with quality notifications and rejections to ensure product quality.
Conduct quality audits and partner with quality engineers and manufacturing to investigate root cause of manufacturing and/or customer complaint related issues and prevent reoccurrence.
Assist quality and process engineers with inspections/testing associated with validations and engineering studies, and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed, including product testing and inspections.
Use SAP to complete material movements and apply SAP/FlexNet for product hold and release.
Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and standard methodologies, as well as all local, state, federal safety laws, policies, and procedures.
Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.
Ability to read and write and converse in English.
Willing and able to uphold BD Values.
Be flexible in working hours and schedule.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience, such as a GED.
Applicants with an Associates Degree or relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Adult education, Manufacturing, Quality or related.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years' experience working in Medical Device manufacturing.
4 years manufacturing experience; experience performing inspections in a manufacturing environment.
