Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Summary

The Restaurant Assistant Manager is a key leader who works closely with the General Manager to oversee all restaurant operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver a high-quality product and guest service experience that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Model an environment where guests are always right and ensure a positive guest service experience.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and correct potential problems before they affect our guests.
  • Help hire and develop high-quality team members who demonstrate and ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
  • Support the General Manager in continuously improving the skills, knowledge, and morale of all team members.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to effectively utilize training programs and maximize financial performance and profit.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective communication with guests and colleagues.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Previous restaurant experience, including full-service, quick-serve, or fast-food environments, is highly desirable.
  • A current Food Handlers Permit is required within 30 days of employment.
