The Role

The Associate Global Director – Global Enterprise will be focused on driving impact and converting group leads for some of our top accounts. The ideal candidate for this role will be a data guru and an expert in analyzing reports to devise action plans and implement strategies. You will partner with our Global Directors, who lead the overall strategic collaboration between Hyatt and these accounts, to identify gaps in conversion that can be turned into new and exponential business opportunities. You will also work closely with our hotel partners to champion the Global Enterprise business and leverage the overall value proposition of these accounts across all brands. Client interaction will be focused on brand awareness activations, organizing sales missions, and professionally representing Hyatt at key customer engagements and industry functions as needed. Specific targets and goals will be identified to grow revenue and shift market share. While this is a remote position that requires a highly motivated individual, our Hyatt Sales Force team cross-collaborates with all commercial areas of the organization. This position will report directly to the Senior Global Sales Director of Global Enterprise. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to understanding customer trends, day-to-day account management, handling leads and RFPs, contributing to team accounts, collaborating on strategic company initiatives and projects, and maintaining travel expenses within a set budget.

•Negotiate competitive deals offering value to the customer while maintaining profitability for Hyatt

•Create and implement strategic action plans to meet/exceed revenue goals

•Plan and organize sales missions, business travel, brand awareness activations, customer advisory boards, and internal meetings as appropriate

•Effectively communicate and bring Hyatt’s story to life

•Champion new and needed hotels and ideate ways to impact other company initiatives and priorities

•Analyzing customer contracts / MSAs to identify opportunities in business terms

•Educating our Hyatt hotels on the value proposition of our Global Enterprise partnerships and business opportunities, including fostering an environment for idea sharing strategies to drive business to individual properties

•Resourcefully engage and collaborate with other areas of the organization to ensure all Commercial Service levers are activated to maximize opportunities for our hotel partners

•Provide detailed and thoughtful analytics to support Global Directors on QBRs and business reviews

•A key player on the Global Enterprise team and accountable for actions and revenues

•Possess a strong customer service mindset

•Engage with hotel sales teams, operators, and owners to build rapport and increase awareness of Hyatt Sales Force

•Stay current on market conditions, forecasts, and trends and translate to action with proactive measures to drive sales

•Maintain a high level of productivity while working independently in a fast-paced and relatively autonomous environment

•Demonstrate strong follow-up, organizational skills, and leadership mindset

•Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values

Experience Required:

•5-7 years of hotel sales experience

•Extensive experience with the Group / MICE Segment and a network of customer and industry contacts

•Self-starter and capable of working independently in a fast-paced and relatively autonomous environment

•Experience working with MSAs and Hotel Contracts

•Possess solid written and verbal communication skills with an ability to stay nimble and creative

•Strong presentation skills

•Remain highly organized and have a keen ability to prioritize

•Must be able to work remotely and independently from a home office

•Ability to possess, develop, and retain a strong network of industry and client relationships

•Balancing the competing priorities of internal and external customers

•Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

•Strong knowledge and command of Envision, Cognos, Thoughtspot, Cvent, and Master Service Agreements where applicable

Experience Preferred:

•Bachelor’s degree

•Global Sales Experience

•Comprehensive knowledge of Hotels and Sales Practices

•Advanced Excel Knowledge
