Training Coordinator - With MS Excel Skills

Under direct supervision and guidance, this position is responsible for all coordination and follow-up of the Technical Training Programs for the business including:
  • Calling technicians that recently graduated and checking on them as well as calling the managers and trainers to check in on the graduates.
  • Make sure training room is stocked with food and snacks/drinks
  • Should have strong MS Excel Skills and able to be tested on the basics.

LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304
POSITION: Contract to hire
HOURS: 9:00am to 5:00pm
PAYRATE: $20.00 hr but will go up to $23+ upon conversion to full time.

This role will heavily use the basic functions of excel (entering data, inserting, cutting, pasting, sorting, filtering, v-lookups & pivot tables) All our training data is maintained in spreadsheets and there is a large volume of updates made to them daily. Weekly and monthly.
  • Collects data and distributes data by phone, email or mail
  • Collects, compiles and reports results and status of data
  • Communicates data and reports as needed
  • Prepares and maintains ongoing documents and procedures
  • Administers and maintains a training management system
  • Research training supplies and materials as needed including details, cost comparison, and timelines
  • Orders supplies for training department as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Ability to multitask with strong organization skills
  • High-level of effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal plus organization and presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
