SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Production Control Specialist provides additional support throughout the lifecycle of a customer job. Proactively completes a variety of operational functions that contribute to the company’s successful project on-time delivery (OTD) and overall internal and external customer satisfaction. Prioritizes critical jobs and ensures all customer job requirements are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Performs production control review of all approved customer jobs. Routes in-house rework (IHRW) job requirements between shops.

  • Ensures an efficient flow of all jobs through operations.

  • Accurately maintains open job statuses. Processes part swapping and material prioritizations to improve efficient customer job completion at the direction of leadership. Completes customer job and inventory transactions related to component exchanges and the USM program. Coordinates with Supervisor and Lead on priority jobs to ensure material requirements are processed expediently.

  • Collaborates interdepartmentally to resolve discrepancies as required. Provides exceptional customer service, both internally and externally. Works closely with Operations leadership to support all project-related requirements.

  • Identifies and communicates potential opportunities for process improvements. Assists with any other necessary operational support functions to help meet critical customer job deadlines.

  • Fields customer service and sales job status questions, escalating problems to supervisor as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

  • Experience in Aviation or MRO preferred.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is $21.00 – $29.00 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors such as skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors – we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
