Overview: We are seeking to hire a Help Desk Technician in a hybrid role for a long term contract. All 3 shifts are available. Description: Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree and 1 year of experience. (A relevant professional certification can be substituted for an Associate's Degree.) Experience supporting many applications including MS Office products, O365, VPN apps and many other business and engineering applications. Experience doing technical support over the telephone and/or in chat. Experience with troubleshooting Windows clients. Experience working remotely. What are 3 things the Hiring Manager is looking for? Customer service. Call center exposure, able to handle volume. Technical support (Windows). Additional Information: All 3 shifts available, 1-2 openings available. Mostly remote position. Pay Rate: $19-$26/hr based on experience. Benefits offered. 1 step interview process.
