Vendor Management
- Identify and source potential suppliers based on project needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance, quality, and delivery times.
- Negotiate terms, prices and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company policies in all procurement contracts.
- Monitor contract renewals and manage supplier agreements.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Forecast and manage inventory needs and lead times.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand procurement requirements.

To perform the job successfully, you will have or demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement software and supply chain management tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Highly organized, process and detail oriented.
- High level of dedication to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance.
- Flexibility to adapt to frequently changing work environment and deliver on challenging demands.
- Interpersonal skills – ability to maintain confidentiality, listens to others and willing to try new ideas.
- Excellent critical reasoning skills with the proven ability to partner across functionally and effectively build links.
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contacts.
- Available to work a variable schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and occasional Spectrum Center Events.
