DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Evaluators evaluate and score submitted applications against competition-specific criteria and announced priorities. Application scores are then used to inform the funding decisions.

As a Technical Evaluator your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform a comprehensive, in-depth review and evaluation of each assigned grant application.
  • Independently read, score, and provide written evaluative comments on assigned applications.
  • Assist in the rating of proposals through active participation in discussions.
  • Participate in Technical Evaluation Training.
  • Participate in facilitated panel discussions with other technical evaluators
  • Assist the Lead Technical Evaluator in preparing the Technical Evaluation Report.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Experience with grants management activities and evaluating grant proposals
  • Experience with grants or procurement management activities and evaluating grant or contract proposals
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, Teams, and SharePoint software platform
Education:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent level of experience.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a non-compensated training program before starting work. This training is NOT expected to exceed 90 minutes.
