Responsibilities- Design, develop, and sustain products with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Create maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, CI/CD automation, secure development, TDD, static code analysis, peer/code reviews).
- Build testing protocols to optimize performance, which will have direct impact on the user experience of our products.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in applications and drive code hygiene and system architecture.
- Increase teams’ technical ability and drive measurable code quality improvements.
- Improve the accuracy of development schedules and lower delivery risks.
- Mentor Junior Individual Contributors
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certification DevOps Engineer Professional.
- Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) Certification or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification.
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing and testing enterprise applications.
- 6+ years of hands-on Java experience, including analysis, design and testing
- 6+ years of experience using Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations.
- 6+ years of relational database experience with a solid understanding of SQL and modeling concepts
- 5+ years of DevSecOps and CI/CD automation experience using GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube
- Experience in performance tuning and code optimization
- Experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices
- Experience modernizing applications to a microservices architecture
- Good understanding of Oracle database concepts
- Knowledge of Angular/React is an added bonus
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
