Location: SCUPP Shift: C, D Pay Rate: $28.47 – $30.28 Job Description JOB OVERVIEW: The Operator, Extruder 2 is a high skill role that will set up and operate extrusion lines and related equipment, including nylon extruders, coilers, pay-offs and take-ups (manual or automatic). These lines that will fall under this job class may operate as single or two person lines based on line or product complexity For example, some commonly ran machines that would fall under this job title would be:Jacket/Romex and Tandem Lines (BWP), Circuit Size THHN Extruder and Jacket/Romex Liens (North Campus) GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Must read, write, and speak English; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods of time Must be able to read and comprehend production orders and the instrumentation on complex equipment Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, etc..)
