Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a global leading company near Adrian, MI
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance to ensure safety, and environmental compliance of the plant while setting a standard of efficiency for the processes.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for industrial and facilities maintenance
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtime.
  • Analyze machine downtime to identify and correct mechanical problems.
  • Read, perform, and write work orders
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements
  • Help maintain a preventative maintenance program/schedule
  • Ensure the availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtime.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience
  • Experience with AC/DC electrical control and power circuits.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Experience with pumps, heat exchangers, valves & pipe repairs are a plus
  • Effective communication skills
