This position will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and hands-on management for delivery of mission enabling cybersecurity for a federal agency in the Washington DC area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a geographically disperse team in developing, operating, and maintaining mission critical cybersecurity solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of the mission strategy and operational direction.
  • Establish and implement tactical and operational plans with significant impact on the achievement of functional results.
  • Work closely with the cybersecurity teams to deliver defined service level agreements.
  • Monitor the service delivery performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain customer relations to ensure their needs are met or exceeded.
  • Facilitate project management follow-up during the onboarding processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Level 4/5 MBI (High Risk) Clearance (IRS Clearance)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, or Engineering with a minimum of 8+ years relevant technical experience.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience managing an IT Security staff / program and successfully executing deliverables, quality control, inspection, metrics analyses, and cost control requirements.
  • PMI-PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to ensure contract deliverables are provided on schedule and with appropriate accuracy and completeness.
  • Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI-PgMP or PMI-PfMP Certification
  • CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO certification.
  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • Experience supporting federal government strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Agile project management.
  • Experience working with both Classified and Unclassified systems.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous cybersecurity projects.
