Transportation Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Director to oversee the transportation program at Senior Community Care of Maryland PACE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the transportation of residents/participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and other necessary transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the transportation departmental staff, including hiring, training, and supervision of drivers and dispatchers.
  • Oversee vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure a safe and reliable fleet.
  • Meet departmental budget goals and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure effective communication and coordination of transportation services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Two years of administrative/supervisory experience in a transportation setting.
  • Five years of experience in the transportation industry.
  • One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of hire.
