Pay Range $18.00 - $22/ hour Position Summary The Production Operator uses different types of machine equipment to assist with manufacturing the NARSTCO product in an efficient and safe manner; cooperates as a team with other workers to produce a high-quality product to meet customer needs and goals. Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties Work safely following all required safety and work protocols and wearing of personnel protective equipment as required. Carryout to the full extent required, production activities for the processing of all NARSTCO products Follow instructions of Production Foreman and Team Leads Maintain departmental housekeeping standards Work at a reasonable pace (measured by production efficiency) and within our quality standards to insure timely completion Assist new employees in safe and efficient production which includes following standard operating procedures and instructional material and manuals To exercise the utmost degree of integrity, honesty, good faith, and fidelity to the Company, in dealing with the Company and with its customers, employees, suppliers and other public entities Provide other reasonable services as the Company may request from time to time. Preferred Skills and Qualifications High School diploma or GED One to two years’ experience in Manufacturing One to two years Forklift operation and certification a bonus Basic reading and mathematics skills Knowledge and experience in working punch press, form press, forklift, using calipers, reading a tape measure, operation of PLC equipment, automated machinery, grinders, and machine fabrication tools preferred Basic maintenance knowledge such as tightening and loosening bolts etc. is preferred Ability to follow instructions, drawings and dimensions as required for quality Ability to work well with tools and machinery required Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Frequently stands, walks, climbs, balances, lifts, bends, and moves objects up to 50 pounds Exposed to all weather conditions including very hot and very cold weather Exposed to loud noise This job description is not intended to represent a complete, comprehensive list of all duties and responsibilities that may be required in this position.
