The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Sr. Brand Manager with a strong background in eCommerce strategy to act as the team lead and main point of contact for our brand partners. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to drive the growth of our partners' presence and sales on the marketplace. As the liaison between departments and the de facto project manager for all projects related to the brands they manage, the Sr. Brand Manager will play a critical role in revolutionizing our partners' digital presence. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all things digital, with a proven track record of growing major brands on digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for brand partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication of goals and progress.
- Strategic Ownership: Analyze market and competitive data, trends, and performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making; develop growth initiatives and merchandising strategies including go-to-market, product optimization, SKU rationalization, and expansion; focus on sales conversion, growth, and brand visibility.
- P&L Ownership: Oversee the profit and loss for brand partners, ensuring financial targets are met and aligning strategies with overall business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement marketing, creative, and advertising initiatives; work with the supply chain to ensure product availability; support brand partners' objectives and ensure efficient project management for all related initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on brand performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or brand management, with a focus on driving growth for major brands.
- Demonstrated success in independently managing all facets of eCommerce for a brand with minimal reliance on external agencies.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing data-driven eCommerce strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience in leveraging data and identifying actionable insights to inform strategy and optimize performance.
- Comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape, including Amazon and other eCommerce platforms, marketing channels, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to evaluate operational gaps and weaknesses and develop scalable solutions to drive business growth and market share.
