A recognized retail company in Massachusetts is looking to add a new SAP Applications Manager to their growing team. In this role, the SAP Applications Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business-critical applications.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 4 days a week.***

Responsibilities:

The SAP Applications Manager will:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP logistics solutions, including system configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules
  • Manage a team of SAP analysts, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather and analyze requirements related to logistics operations
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for SAP logistics configurations and enhancements
  • Ensure the seamless integration of logistics processes with other business processes within the SAP environment
  • Oversee the configuration of SAP logistics modules to support procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, transportation, and sales distribution according to business requirements
  • Implement custom solutions and enhancements to address specific business needs within the logistics landscape
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within SAP logistics modules
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP logistics configurations, processes, and customizations
  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions for end-users following system changes or enhancements
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for software and services
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in application functionality, user experience, and overall efficiency
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of proven experience in SAP logistics modules (MM, WM, SD, LE).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in a Leadership and/or Management role overseeing SAP implementation and support teams
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP logistics functionalities, configurations, and integration with other SAP modules
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • SAP certifications in logistics modules (MM, WM, SD, LE)
  • Experience with SAP Apparel and Footwear Solution (AFS) and FMS(Fashion Management Solution (FMS)
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA
