Job Description for Licensed Mental Health Therapist:
- Provide therapeutic treatment services to individuals and groups.
- Deliver crisis intervention services and conduct daily safety assessments.
- Interact with patients, family members, and referents respectfully.
- Participate in psychoeducational support sessions with patients and families.
- Provide case management and therapeutic interventions to all assigned patients.
- Assist patients in setting and achieving specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely goals.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and within specified timeframes.
- Lead and guide the implementation of clinical interventions.
- Evaluate the outcome of interdisciplinary interventions and modify the Care Plan accordingly.
- Communicate professionally and accurately with team members and stakeholders.
- Requirements: Master's Degree in Social Work or related field. In-training as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or equivalent. American Red Cross Professional Rescue and formal training in the management of the aggressive patient required. Attend all mandatory in-services and other relevant educational requirements.
