Froedtert South is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional rehabilitation services. This role is crucial in evaluating patients and creating tailored treatment plans in alignment with physician directives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment strategies.
  • Implement therapeutic activities aimed at addressing physical disabilities, disorders, and injuries.
  • Document patient progress through detailed reports, including bi-weekly updates and discharge summaries.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs to enhance recovery.
  • Collaborate with physical therapist assistants and Certified Athletic Trainers in treatment planning and clinical supervision.
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with established protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome.
  • Licensure: Valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Wisconsin and current BLS/CPR certification.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending the English language.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and adjust as necessary to meet patient goals.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare team members.
