It's with that in mind that Beyond is looking to add a Manager, Business Development to our growing team. Reporting to our SVP of Sales, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of outbound business development representatives and help drive revenue at Beyond.

As our Manager, Business Development you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading our team of Business Development Representatives to quota achievement
  • Creating and developing processes and best practices to improve team performance
  • Providing coaching and development to sales reps with various levels of experience
  • Owning and managing the team's pipeline and forecast through strategic decision-making to ensure success
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the business on sales initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Prospecting into the largest & most strategic accounts (15-25% of time)

Now that we've told you what the job looks like, here are the qualifications we're looking for in a candidate:
  • Willing and able to work a hybrid schedule, working from our Chicago office at least three times a week
  • 1+ years of experience in sales management, specifically with outbound sales/business development representatives (SaaS experience preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding team sales quotas
  • Experience creating processes and building structure
  • High initiative and demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for impact in a startup environment
  • A leadership style that embodies our core values
