OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for an Operations Specialist to join our team in Louisville, KY

As an Operations Specialist you will be responsible for providing sales and service support for the local branch with a strong focus on inventory management.

What You'll Do:
  • Review and correct order exceptions and invoice daily.
  • Manage inventory and lead, organize, and participate in annual physical inventory audits.
  • Assist in resolution of shipment discrepancies and file claims as necessary.
  • Review, approve, correct, and code vendor invoices.
  • Review and process service parts audits, as well as conduct.
  • Review and process customer and vendor returns.
  • Review and process credits and corrections as necessary.
  • Set up new vendor accounts as necessary.
  • Review, follow up, and assist with resolution of customer disputes.
  • Review the nonstock inventory report routinely and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Assist with credit card processing as needed.
  • Process warehouse transfers ensuring tracking and freight are added as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need:
  • HS Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Operations or a related position.
  • Knowledge of SXe (Trend) preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Possess the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving capabilities and performing root cause analysis.
  • Must have a "can-do" attitude with a commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time."
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate productively with other associates, customers, and vendors.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable and highly motivated.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail required.
