On a day-to-day basis we perform both the traditional traffic work common with our local industry such as intersection signal design, maintenance of traffic evaluations and corridor planning studies, and we also offer unparalleled opportunities to grow beyond those fields. Our staff can also perform ITS Design, toll and toll technology design, travel demand modeling, large data analysis and so much more – with a focus on the big picture and right-sizing solutions for client needs. Days will generally be a mix of traffic data collection and analysis with report and plan preparation. Our design staff sits on the exterior of our building, against the light drenched windows and the furniture in both offices has been recently upgraded. The typical employee works in the field and office as needed for 8 hours between Monday and Friday. What You'll Do: Responsible for the planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to the schedule and budget on projects. Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation. Assists with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within discipline. Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline. Guides and mentors team to overall project objectives. Coordinates technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within the discipline. Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
