Inventory Specialist needed for immediate temp to direct opportunity just north of Burlington, MA. The right person is to be responsible for the procurement and coordination of purchased electronics to support the manufacturing of printed circuit boards. This organization deals with local markets and is seeking a motivated professional who is not only knowledgeable within this role, but also an Excel guru. job type: Contract

salary: $22 - 26 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: No Degree Required

responsibilities:

  • Ensures company compliance with purchasing procedures and policies.

  • Schedules and places purchase orders with suppliers based on requirements and order policies while managing inventory to required levels.

  • Costing for multiple BOMs

  • Research different materials from a components list and perform analysis table

  • Work with and provide Production scheduling input to the Production Manager.

  • Maintain raw material/component and finished goods inventory levels at established goals.

  • Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years manufacturing purchasing, planning and inventory management experience.

  • Proven Communication and Presentation skills

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel at a well above average level

  • Microsoft Word, Power Point, etc

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
