ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process, product, and customer complaint related concerns. Assist Quality Manager in maintaining the quality management system. Interface with Engineering, Purchasing, Suppliers, and Operations to ensure transfer to production of new products that are in accordance with the approved requirements. (PPAP's, Control Plans, Cpk studies, etc.) Create and maintain quality documentation such as quality procedures, work instructions, control plans, reports. Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement of Quality metrics. Develop training to build quality awareness. Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports and determining proper corrective and preventive actions. Participate as a part of the Material Review Board (MRB) to develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility. Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform other duties as assigned.
