The Company is a leading renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on developing, constructing, and operating solar assets.

The Role

The Director of Asset Management will lead and oversee a portfolio of community solar and distributed generation (DG) assets. This role involves optimizing financial performance, managing contracts, and ensuring the long-term success of the projects. The Director will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure that assets are performing at their best, both financially and operationally, while driving overall strategy for asset growth and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of community solar assets to maximize performance and profitability.
  • Oversee contracts (PPAs, leases), ensuring compliance, risk management, and performance optimization.
  • Monitor and report on asset performance, including energy output and financial metrics, providing insights to senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost revenue and adapt to market changes and incentives.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to resolve performance issues and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships to maintain transparency and trust.
  • Lead collaboration with finance teams on forecasts, reports, and budgets, driving alignment with overall company goals.
  • Play a key role in due diligence for acquisitions and refinancing to support company growth and investment strategies.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in asset management, financial analysis, or contract management in renewable energy.
  • Expertise in managing community solar or distributed generation (DG) portfolios, including subscriber management and tariffs.
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and incentives.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
