Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay rate: $16.00/hr

Insurance Change Specialist responsibilities include obtaining patient demographic and insurance information, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations when necessary, and resolving front collections accounts. The role involves effective communication with patients, physicians' offices, and internal teams. Other duties include answering calls, handling emails and faxes, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors. Read and understand medical documentation effectively and perform other clerical tasks as needed. Additionally, report concerns directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager and Supervisor and handle other assigned responsibilities and projects.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years in DME or Medical Office experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of insurance verification or authorizations required.
