Office Manager/Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview:

They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as an Office Manager/Litigation Paralegal. This hybrid role will play a vital part in the efficient operation of their firm, ensuring smooth office administration while also providing support in their litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including maintaining office supplies, scheduling appointments, and overseeing administrative tasks.
  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information to support litigation efforts.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, court appearances, and meetings, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files, both electronically and in hard copy, in compliance with firm policies and legal requirements.
  • Handle billing tasks, including preparing invoices and tracking payments, in collaboration with the firm's accounting department.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials and provide administrative support during trial proceedings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication within the firm.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting, preferably with a focus on personal injury cases.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and staff members.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting, with a solid understanding of litigation procedures and processes.
  • Experience with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in office management or administrative support roles is preferred.
