Qualifications
    • A minimum of one year working experience in Information Technology, preferably in a Service Desk environment or a Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Computer Information Systems or a closely related field and a minimum of one year applicable experience
    • Solid technical, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Qualifications

Position Purpose

Under general supervision, this role performs a variety of technology support tasks in an in- person office setting, including but not limited to;
  • analyzing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting of hardware
  • installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting software applications
  • adding, removing, changing, troubleshooting, and supporting security permissions,
  • providing guidance and training to RMHS employees on use of technology,
  • performing technology-related tasks necessary to onboard and offboard employees
  • adding, removing, and modifying access to systems including proper licensing
  • provisioning, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting peripherals, and communication devices.
This position supports RMHS employees through use of a ticketing system. The TSR I will communicate status updates for requests to both the requestor and to the IT & Facilities staff. This position is responsible for assisting with new or existing processes and policies for the support team.

Essential Duties
  • Support RMHS employees' technology needs, and company operations as directed by the Technical Support Supervisor. Ensure uninterrupted coverage of the helpdesk/ticket system during business hours.
  • Coordinate equipment and software repairs, orders, replacements, etc. with vendors as needed.
  • Support the helpdesk group in maintenance functions including but not limited to troubleshooting/maintaining system/network/server/database connectivity and functionality, add/change/delete users and licensing, backup/restore functionality.
  • Provide tier 1 support services to users for incidents and service requests coming into the ticket system and assist with tier 2 and 3 support as needed.
  • Help maintain accurate inventories and assist in ordering equipment as directed; prepare and deploy equipment for new staff as well as upgrades for existing staff.
  • Assist in evaluating new technology/processes in relation to lowering costs or improving services.
  • Provide outstanding support to RMHS employees
  • Ensure that RMHS data and information is secured and protected according to RMHS policies and procedures
  • Follow all IT policies and procedures
  • Ensure that documentation is accurate
  • Keep current on trends and innovations in technology.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
  • Work is primarily performed in RMHS offices
