Job Description

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for Zeus's security and compliance programs which will include vulnerability management, endpoint protection, email security, security awareness program, developing security policies and standards, and coordinating activities across all areas of the business in order maintain compliance with business requirements. The Security Analyst role will require a strong technical background, including experience in IT security, audit management and technical writing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive information security and compliance strategies across the business
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies and procedures in alignment with required technical controls
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Continuous Monitoring activities such as log audits and vulnerability scanning
  • Manage incident response including planning, testing and training
  • Oversee documentation and software change management processes
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities
  • Manage the security awareness program
  • Maintain endpoint and email security platforms
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically requires 2-4 years' of IT and/or Information security related technical experience.
  • High degree of initiative, dependable and able to work with little supervision while being resilient to change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience working among cross functional teams
  • Excellent work ethic with a passion for learning
  • Information security experience
  • Auditing experience
  • One or more recognized risk or security certifications (e.g. CISA, GIAC, CISM, CISSP, CRISC,CEH, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor).
  • Experience with common security and risk frameworks as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. NIST, CIS, PCI, NIST, SANS, HITRUST, ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, CoBIT).
  • A broadunderstanding of technology security best practices, includingcurrent security issues and trends.
  • 2+ years' prior experience in risk management, security analysis, system administration, information security, or similar audit or business experience.
  • Bachelors (BS) degree in Computer Science, business administration or a technology-related field.
