Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking an IT Support Liaison to provide end user support for IT services on the eMITS program at Langley Research Center. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily reporting of NASA's enterprise-wide end-user and IT services.
  • Validate and reconcile monthly IT services invoices.
  • Place refresh orders and new orders for computer and mobile devices.
  • Track and report discrepancies in refresh and general fulfillment data.
  • Create and produce on demand reports and order services for the Workplace and Collaboration Services (WCS) service line and LaRC personnel and customers.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions with organization IT stakeholders.


Qualifications

2+ years experience in end user support for technical issues. HS diploma or GED. Must be proficient with the full suite of Microsoft Office products including Office365. Experience with SharePoint and Service Now a plus. Experience with common desktop support tools and applications. Working knowledge of ITSM tracking systems. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to thoroughly document each step involved in resolving a user's issue. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and a customer service focused attitude. Must have effective deductive reasoning and troubleshooting skills. Aptitude for understanding and learning new information technologies is desired. Proficient in multitasking and adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment. Must be a US Citizen.
