  1. The Director of Operations is responsible for working in coordination with the VP on the overall management of the healthcare facilities and program. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Supervision of Center managers.
  • Assisting Center Directors with staffing issues.
  • Recruitment and hiring.
  • Scheduling for all centers.
  • Supervises monthly production and collections.
  • Maintains monthly reports.
  • Supervises supply orders.
  • Supervises staff attendance.
  • Coordinates payroll.
  • Handling of mail for accounts payable.
  • Supervises overall housekeeping of centers.
  • Supervises maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Keeps centers current with DHEC/OSHA policies.

  1. Agrees to adhere to the Policy and Procedures for the centers, which follows the guidelines of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
  2. Collaborates with management of fiscal services and oversees state agency billing (Medicaid) and private insurance billing. Assists the VP in being responsible for the overall production and collection activity during the entire calendar year.
  3. Assists VP in being responsible for oversight of the centers during all hours of operation, responsible for support staff, and acts as a liaison between our organization and the partners.
  4. Responsible for periodic visits to centers during the year to monitor activity.
  5. Functions as community liaison patients and their families, serves as spokesperson for our organization to community, local and state organizations, and the media.
  6. Assists in monitoring DHHS Grant monthly activity and coordinates monthly grant reports for each center.
  7. Works with grant writer to secure grants for organization.
  8. Works with Marketing and Development for promotional efforts
  9. Attends community/state agency meetings to promote our programs.
  10. Maintains positive working relationship with external partners and providers.
  11. Assists program enhancements, if requested by the Board of Directors.

QUALIFICATION:

  1. Passionate about helping those in need and have a heart to serve.
  2. Dental office, Nursing or some healthcare experience preferred.
  3. Must be adept at meeting the public.
  4. Excellent communication skills required.
  5. Supervisory skills/experience required.
  6. Should have typing skills, computer knowledge, including Excel, and fiscal management skills.
