To this end, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within Provides nursing care according to the sequential steps of the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation Directs patient flow and prepare patients for exams Facilitates collection of all necessary information required for patient visits. Accurately records pertinent information in the Electronic Medical Record and ensures necessary patient care documentation is processed in a timely manner Accurately triages patient phone calls and ensures that callbacks and prescription refills are completed in a timely fashion consistent with provider guidelines, scope of practice, and clinic guidelines. Documents pertinent information accurately Assists providers with procedures as directed and maintain asepsis. Perform invasive procedures for which the RN has the training and skills Proactively monitors physician schedules for accuracy Improves the quality of care through continuing education and self-evaluation of the effectiveness of care. This includes attendance/participation in most in-services/department meetings and remaining current on clinic/department policies and procedures Actively participates in the cleaning of shared work areas, keeping exam rooms clean, neat and stocked Participates in the orientation and training of new employees You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
