Job Summary
The Sr Strategy and Planning Program Manager has a solid line reporting directly to the System Manager Strategic Alignment. They are responsible for identifying, analyzing and monitoring issues that affect organizational strategy, plan and operating models. This role manages the analytical and research activities supporting the organizations strategic, short-term, and long-range goal planning function. This role oversees data collection and conducts organizational reviews to identify organizational strengths and weaknesses, and evaluates operational effectiveness.
This role also designs and executes methods to track and measure organizational performance data to use for planning. The Sr Strategy and Planning Program Manager is responsible for ensuring approved ITinvestments are aligned with the strategic direction of the organization as outlined by the VP they are aligned to support. The incumbent must have the ability to engage with Sr Leaders to clarify business objectives, capture and analyze requests, and assess strategic alignment and value. This position is vital to ensuring the health of the business units within the ACED organization, approved IT investments, and aligning the “right” work to division strategies and goals.
The Sr Strategy and Planning Program Manager is expected to work autonomously and have minimal interaction with the Director Strategic Alignment. Through collaboration, demonstrates sound leadership while focusing on effective management of approved division IT investments and operational performance.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience
● Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience● 10 years of IT experience● Experience engaging and influencing Sr leaders● Previous experience engaging in strategy, planning or organizational performance assessment preferred
● Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification preferred
● Previous experience in Healthcare IT● Experience in monitoring the health of division strategy and plan is preferred●Working Knowledge of EHR ecosystem, Data Integration and Cyber Risk and Compliance
