About the job:

The primary function of this Developer position is to analyze and report on existing and new datasets in support of the credit union's Marketing Department. This position will also assist various other departments in reporting, data retention, data integrity, and database maintenance.

Essential Job Functions

Reporting / Data Analysis (Primary Responsibility)
  • Creation, validation, and deployment of reports and/or extracts using credit union data warehouses and tools such as: MS SQL, Symitar, Crystal Reports, MS SQL Report Builder, and MCIF.
  • Debugging and re-deployment of existing queries, extracts, and reports as required.
  • Automation of import processes for third party datasets into credit union data warehouses.
  • Analysis of datasets to create and measure marketing KPIs in order to achieve estimations on current and future member engagement, cross-selling potential, member retention, and member profitability.
Other tasks
  • Present efficient and scalable solutions to problems brought to the development team.
  • The creation and maintenance of project code bases and documentation via Git.
  • Identify, investigate, and correct discovered issues in credit union systems.
Qualifications

Preferred requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience programming / developing at a professional capacity.
  • Portfolio work can be submitted if the candidate does not have sufficient professional experience.
