KMK Law is in search of a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Real Estate Group to provide full service transactional support to Commercial Real Estate attorneys.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Working with the attorneys, draft real estate transactional documents using established templates, including loan documents, purchase agreements, easements, deeds, and related documents.
  • Prepare and manage transaction timelines and checklists and resolve open items with attorney direction.
  • Order and review title insurance commitments and coordinate with title company to finalize.
  • Obtain and review property surveys, zoning letters, lien and litigation searches, and other public records as appropriate.
  • Prepare and file entity formation documents, draft resolutions and organizational documents; order and review UCC documents.
  • Facilitate closings and assist in execution of documents; prepare escrow/recording instruction letters to title companies and prepare escrow agreements.
  • Record real estate documents as appropriate, including e-recording.
  • Prepare and distribute closing binders and manage post-closing matters.
  • Maintain specific client databases and templates according to attorney instructions.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by the attorneys to facilitate commercial real estate transactions.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions.
  • Paralegal degree/certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
