General Description:

Responsible for the operation and optimal performance of a large, and growing, real estate portfolio spanning multiple states and property types. The Real Estate Asset Manager coordinates and drives the successful execution of the business plan for each asset and is responsible for all aspects of the property's life cycle post-acquisition or development, with the goal of maximizing asset value and cash flow. The Manager also oversees the day-to-day operations of properties including maintenance, repairs, tenant relations, accounting, collections, marketing, and oversight of external leasing and property management professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

       Responsible for preserving, and increasing, the value and cash flow of a diverse portfolio of assets through planning, budgeting, marketing, leasing, financial analysis, maintenance, surveillance, reporting, and other asset management activities.

       Prepare business plans, operating budgets, and performance reports. Execute the stated financial, operational, and organizational goals and objectives.

       Continually assesses financial performance of owned assets using a broad spectrum of criteria (i.e. evaluation of market data, performance relative to budget, and performance relative to pro forma, etc.).

       Participate in the acquisition and disposition process when assets are bought and sold. Coordinates with senior management to ensure completion of related financial, accounting, and legal activities.

       In coordination with team members, act as landlord representative for commercial tenant lease negotiations.

       Monitor ongoing business activity and recommend improvements to properties, policies, and practices.

       Conduct property inspections and monitor competition and market conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

       Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or related field

       1-3 years of commercial asset management experience (preferably in office, industrial, multifamily and mixed-use properties)

       Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

       Ability to develop and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets

       Knowledge of accounting and/or finance practices and procedures

       Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with peers, management and clients

       Ability to work in person full-time
