Requirements:

A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).

OR

A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

OR

A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
  • Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture
  • Assists with the allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel component
  • Coordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination
  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288
  • Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
  • Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) test, to include General Purpose, Commercial, Custom Commercial, and Special Purpose Device HPCs. Experience with Major Systems Acquisition, including development of Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Working Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs), DT (Directorate of Test) and experience collaborated with independent test and test oversight. Experience with multiple layers of test (i.e., code testing, system test, integration test, systems of systems test) developing the test plan, procedures, reports, briefings, and leading customer, oversight, vendor/industry collaboration. Strong skills in customer interaction and teaming with Operational Test Manager (OTMs), vendors/industry collaboration, and building relationships in support of the USG.
  • Experience with High Performance Computing Application-Specific Integrated Circuit requirements, design, test, deployment, tuning, and optimization, including board design, performance analysis, and system integration. Experience developing requirements, design, development, and integration of Purpose-Built Devices. Experience with Major System Acquisition and DoD/IC engineering, design, test, deployment, operations and sustainment milestones and review (i.e., PDR, CDR, IOT&E, DOT&E, EOA, IOC, FOC, T2Ops). Strong skills in customer support and teaming, requirements extraction, teaming with vendors/ industry, and building relationships in support of the USG.
  • Experience with High Performance Computing networking requirements, architecture design, and implementation system integration. Experience with networking enclaves, VPNs, HPCs, including Purpose Built Devices. Experience with Major System Acquisition and DoD/IC engineering, design, test, deployment, operations and sustainment milestones and review (i.e., PDR, CDR, IOT&E, DOT&E, EOA, IOC, FOC, T2Ops). Provide network and infrastructure subject matter expertise to design solutions, evaluate technologies/solutions, identify gaps and flaws in proposed implementations, and experience in automation technologies relevant to HPC technology. Strong skills in customer support and teaming, requirements extraction, teaming with vendors/ industry, and building relationships in support of the USG.
