We are looking for a qualified Lead Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Group in the Force Projection Sector. Our team provides essential systems engineering and development support for vital strategic deterrence capabilities within the Navy and Air Force. As a key team member, you will:
- Lead the analysis and development of requirements, architecture, and test plans for strategic weapons systems.
- Utilize advanced tools to evaluate weapon system capabilities and assist in shaping future requirements.
- Participate actively in design and requirements reviews.
- Provide expert guidance by coordinating research and analysis on current and future capability performance.
- Communicate effectively through formal presentations to sponsors and contractors, producing comprehensive reports that encapsulate concepts, requirements, and technical recommendations.
Qualifications:
You are a strong candidate if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- Significant experience in systems engineering for complex systems.
- Proficiency in requirements analysis, concept development, risk assessment, and testing.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to lead and work well within diverse, multidisciplinary teams, including industry and government sponsors.
- A willingness to travel occasionally for short visits to sponsor offices and military sites.
- An active Secret security clearance and eligibility for a Top Secret clearance, as this role requires access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with systems engineering software, particularly model-based tools.
- Knowledge of the Navy Trident II and Air Force ICBM Systems.
- An active Top Secret security clearance.
