Contracts and Payor Senior Specialist Do you have an administrative background in contracts, managed care, and/or health insurance? Work in partnership with senior leadership, Program Directors, and Director of Contracts and Payor Engagement to ensure consistency and secure public and private insurance contracts. Analyze and monitor financial aspects of existing contracts and maintain original documentation of all contracts. Identify, contact, and create relationships with potential payors that result in new contracts and increased funding possibilities for program participants. Conduct rate and contract negotiations. Assist with the development of potential relationships with strategic partners and create measurable business results for various markets. Describe brain injury programs to potential contract sources. Communicate with state directors and state operating/marketing staff regarding contract specifics. Ensure commitments to participants, family, referral sources, and payors are met. Complete contract-related credentialing and enrollment application requirements, maintaining a database of licenses, accreditation forms, financial, and organizational information for an efficient and timely enrollment application. Oversee Single Case Agreement process within the Admissions Teams; may take lead in difficult single case negotiation. In tandem with the manager and/or director, supervise workflow activities of other staff members. Embrace a team lead role within the organization, communicating contract executions and requirements to all internal departments and facilitating the resolution of contract-related issues with billing and collections team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Three to five years of experience with contracts, managed care, and health insurance-related industry preferred. Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect information from different sources. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Why Join Us?
