Job SummaryThe Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for providing healthcare services, conducting ultrasonic imaging procedures, and maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Additionally, this role involves participating in patient care standards and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Identify upper/lower extremity venous anatomy
- Perform Venous Duplex protocol for DVT or Venous Insufficiency
- Identify extra cranial and intracranial anatomy
- Operate the Vascular Ultrasound units efficiently and effectively
- Education: Two-year allied health education program or Graduate of a program accredited by a recognized agency
- Experience: One year of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer
- Licenses & Certifications: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS, BLS certification
