Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Software QA Analyst with robust skills in T-SQL and database querying. This role involves thorough testing of software applications to ensure high-quality delivery, with a focus on database validation and report testing. Experience in the healthcare claims domain is highly advantageous, as it will aid in understanding the specific nuances of the projects you will be working on.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual Testing:Perform comprehensive manual testing of software applications, ensuring functionality aligns with specifications.
  • Database Testing:Utilize intermediate to expert-level T-SQL skills to write and execute queries for verifying data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within databases.
  • Report Testing:Validate the accuracy and performance of generated reports, ensuring they meet requirements and contain accurate data.
  • Healthcare Claims Testing:Apply knowledge of healthcare claims to effectively test relevant applications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Test Planning and Execution:Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases, meticulously documenting results and defects.
  • Defect Tracking:Log and track defects using designated defect tracking tools, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Requirement Analysis:Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements and specifications.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, including test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
  • Quality Assurance:Ensure that all delivered products meet the highest quality standards and align with user expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Software QA:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manual software quality assurance, focusing on database and report testing.
  • T-SQL Proficiency:Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for data validation.
  • Database Knowledge:Strong understanding of relational databases and data validation techniques.
  • Report Testing Experience:Demonstrated experience in testing and validating software-generated reports.
Pay Rate:$33-43/ hour
