In this role, you will:
- Provide patient care and treatment under physician supervision in accordance with established protocols.
- Assess patient health status by obtaining complete medical history and ensure that findings are properly recorded in patient’s medical records, order laboratory tests, and analyze results.
- Diagnose illnesses or health needs based on analysis and evaluation of clinical data collected, and prescribe treatment as indicated.
- Perform emergency treatment in cases of serious illness or injury.
- Provide consultation to nurses who triage patient walk-ins. Refer patients for specialty services.
- Bachelors degree and successful completion of two-year accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Current license and registration with the Massachusetts Division of Registration of Physician Assistants.
- Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Bilingual preferred.
- History of good attendance and positive work attitude.
