Role

As an Inspection Associate (also known as Quality Control Inspector, Manufacturing Inspector), you'll be a crucial link between the production floor and engineering specifications. You'll ensure performance standards are met, take necessary actions to meet deadlines, maintain quality, and reach production targets. The role also involves cross-training across the department and stepping in during peak times, absences, or vacations. You'll also support team cohesion and lead by example.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Aerospace DSQR.
  • Thorough knowledge of AS9102 (FAI’s) First Article Inspection process, Quality Planning tools (including SPC, GR&R, Cpk, GD&T, DMAIC, First Piece Inspection, Cost of Quality), and aviation industry compliance standards (ISO and AS 9000 quality systems, ISO 10012, AS9100, ISO9001, FAA FAR regulations).
  • Proficiency in time and project management, Microsoft Office 2000 or greater, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
